Abstract:
Endocrinopathies belong to the group of heterogenic diseases in course of which hemostatic disturbances can occur at any stage of the disease. On one hand they could include an increased risk ofthromboembolic events, on the other hand an increased tendency to development of bleeding complications. The aim of this paper was to examine the influence of different hormones on hemostasis and fibrinolysis with particular emphasis on blood clotting factors, platelets' function and parameters of fibrinolysis.
