Abstract:
Time has come for the replacement of traditional plaster models by digital ones. Digital technology now fulfills our diagnostic and medico-legal purposes. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) recognizes the value of digital models. The technology is available and affordable. The advantages of digital models surpass the advantages over plaster models. The purpose of this article is to expose the reader to the logistics of digital models and let you ask the pertinent question: is it time for me to go digital?
