Reflex Activity

A reflex activity is an automatic, involuntary response to specific stimuli. It is a part of our survival mechanism, designed to protect us from potential harm. Summary

The blink reflex, a motor response in neonates and startle reflexes, involves early (R1) and late (R2) responses. Its mechanisms and clinical diagnostic value as a skin reflex are discussed.
