Adiponectin and leptin in African Americans

Summary

In African Americans, adiponectin and leptin levels related to body fat and insulin sensitivity differ by sex. Visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and insulin sensitivity predict adiponectin, while VAT and body fat predict leptin.
