Wavefront-guided LASIK (wg LASIK) with iris-registration significantly improves visual acuity and contrast sensitivity while reducing higher-order aberrations compared to conventional LASIK. This advanced procedure is especially beneficial for patients with high preoperative higher-order aberrations or astigmatism.
