CD44 suppresses TLR-mediated inflammation

CD44, a hyaluronan receptor, was found to negatively regulate Toll-like receptor (TLR)-mediated inflammation. This study reveals CD44 directly associates with TLR2, playing a protective role in inflammatory responses.
