    Summary

    Chyloperitoneum is a rare complication in peritoneal dialysis patients. This case highlights intermittent chyloperitoneum in familial amyloidosis type Andrade disease.

    • A patient undergoing peritoneal dialysis was diagnosed with familial amyloidosis type Andrade disease.
    • The patient experienced recurrent episodes of chyloperitoneum.

    Findings:

    • This case demonstrates intermittent and recurrent chyloperitoneum in a patient with familial amyloidosis type Andrade disease on peritoneal dialysis.
    • Familial amyloidosis type Andrade disease can manifest with chyloperitoneum in the context of peritoneal dialysis.
