Regional anesthesia for upper extremity surgery--our experience.

This study shows that a perivascular brachial plexus block using the axillary approach is a safe and effective regional anesthesia technique for upper extremity surgery. The method achieved successful anesthesia in 85% of patients with no significant complications.
