The Adenosine Exercise (AdenoEX) protocol for myocardial perfusion scintigraphy (MPS) shows fewer side effects and better patient tolerance than the abbreviated Adenosine SCAN protocol. AdenoEX is recommended for improved safety and efficacy in assessing coronary artery disease.
