The BSG/ACPGBI guidelines for colonoscopic screening: what are we missing?

Applying newer colorectal cancer screening guidelines retroactively would have missed 10% of significant pathologies in moderate-risk patients. These missed findings represent 39% of all significant colorectal cancer pathology in the studied population.
