Abstract:
The effect of 3' and 5' dangling ends has been studied on the stability of a self-complementary double-helix of d(ATGCGCAT) in 1 mol dm-3 NaCl-phosphate buffer. It was shown that the effect on the DNA was smaller than that on r(AUGCAU).
