Recurrent laryngeal nerve injury: an experience with 310 thyroidectomies

Thyroid surgery can cause recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) injury, with a 3.22% prevalence in this study. Most injuries were transient, with 87.5% of patients recovering within 12 weeks.
