[The combined use of blood and chemical necrectomy in extensive burns]

A method of combined and consecutive use of tangential blood and chemical necrectomy for treatment of large-scale and deep burns is reported. Preference of the method is that the advantages of either method of necrectomy are combined to a major degree and at the same time the disadvantages of each of them when separately performed are avoided. The possibly quickest and effective treatment of extensive burns is achieved.
