    Summary

    This case report details a 16-year-old male with a three-year history of developing small papules on his lower lip. Further investigation is needed to determine the cause of these persistent lip lesions.

    • Lip papules can arise from various causes, including developmental, inflammatory, or neoplastic processes.
    • Persistent lesions require thorough evaluation to rule out underlying pathology.

    Observation:

    • A 16-year-old male presented with a 3-year history of asymptomatic, small papules on the lower lip.
    • The lesions were non-ulcerative and did not exhibit significant changes in size or number over time.

    Findings:

    • The differential diagnosis for lip papules in adolescents includes Fordyce granules, mucoceles, or less commonly, benign or malignant neoplasms.
    • Histopathological examination is crucial for definitive diagnosis.

    Implications:

    • Accurate diagnosis of lip papules ensures appropriate management and patient reassurance.
