Platelet aggregation is not enhanced in patients with prediabetes

Prediabetes, a precursor to type 2 diabetes, shows higher fibrinogen levels but not altered platelet aggregation compared to healthy individuals. This suggests platelet aggregation may not drive the prothrombotic state in prediabetes.
