Infrared cloaking based on the electric response of split ring resonators

This study introduces a novel electromagnetic cloak using the electric response of gold split ring resonators (SRRs) at infrared frequencies. The findings suggest SRRs are versatile building blocks for metamaterials and can be simplified to cut wires for cloaking applications.
