Nitrous oxide for applying local anesthesia in nasal operations: a randomized placebo-controlled single-blinded study

Nitrous oxide (N2O) inhalation did not significantly reduce discomfort during nasal local anesthesia. Further research is needed to determine if longer N2O inhalation times benefit nasal surgery pain management.
