Abstract:
Turnip yellow mosaic virus (TYMV) and its coat protein have been localized in ultrathin sections by an immunocytochemical technique using colloidal-gold labeled protein A as the marker. The high sensitivity of the technique and the good structural preservation allowed us to localize nonstructural proteins of the virus such as the RNA replicase and its viral-encoded subunit of 115 kDa.
