Xylitol gummy bear snacks: a school-based randomized clinical trial

Xylitol gummy bears significantly reduced mutans streptococci (MS) levels in children after six weeks. While Lactobacillus spp. remained unchanged, this study suggests xylitol gummy bears are a viable option for caries prevention.
