Background:

Visceral botryomycosis is an uncommon bacterial infection affecting internal organs.
Documented sites include the lungs, brain, kidneys, liver, and prostate.
Disseminated forms are exceptionally rare, making case reports crucial for understanding.

Observation:

This report presents a rare autopsy case of disseminated visceral botryomycosis.
The case featured bulky, grape-like botryomycotic vegetations within the heart.
Abscesses were also observed in the lungs and bone marrow.

Findings:

The autopsy revealed extensive visceral botryomycosis with cardiac involvement.
The findings include significant botryomycotic vegetations in the heart.
