Summary

Malignant teratocarcinosarcoma (TCS) is rare, typically affecting the sinuses. This report details a unique case of frontal lobe TCS presenting with neurological symptoms and extensive spinal dissemination.

Background:

Malignant teratocarcinosarcoma (TCS) is an exceptionally rare tumor.
Fewer than 60 cases are documented in medical literature.
TCS most commonly originates in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.

Observation:

The authors present a rare case of TCS.
The tumor occurred in the frontal lobe, causing neurological symptoms.
The patient developed widespread spinal tumor dissemination.

Findings:

This case highlights that TCS can present primarily in the cranial region with neurological manifestations.
The tumor demonstrated extensive spread to the spinal canal, a rare pattern of dissemination.
