Summary

Ergotamine overuse headache (PEOH) significantly increases blood flow velocity (BFV) in the basilar artery and middle cerebral artery. Analgesic overuse headache (PAOH) may reduce BFV, suggesting different mechanisms in medication-overuse headaches.
