Doppler ultrasonography: a tool for nephrologists--single centre experience

Colour Doppler duplex ultrasonography (CDUS) noninvasively assesses kidney vascular changes. Resistive indexes (RIs) are valuable predictors for diabetic nephropathy and arteriolosclerosis, aiding diagnosis in transplant patients and suspected renal conditions.

- CDUS, particularly RI measurement, is a valuable noninvasive tool for assessing kidney vascular health.
- RI serves as a potential predictor for Diabetic Nephropathy and arteriolosclerosis.
- CDUS provides crucial diagnostic information when combined with clinical and laboratory data for various renal conditions.
