Background:

Established a collaborative program between the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Nursing (SN), the New Jersey Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Center, and Morristown Memorial Hospital/Atlantic Health (MMH/AH).
The program aimed to leverage academic expertise and clinical resources to advance interdisciplinary health research and evidence-based practice (EBP).

Purpose of the Study:

To establish a framework for interdisciplinary health research and EBP consultation within a hospital setting.
To provide a clinical research platform for faculty members to conduct scholarly activities and publications.
To support the implementation of research findings and the pursuit of research funding.

Main Methods:

A faculty member from UMDNJ-SN was affiliated with MMH/AH as a research scholar.
The scholar evaluated and developed mechanisms to support interdisciplinary research and EBP at MMH/AH.
