BRACE MAP, a proposal for a new classification of braces

A new classification system for spinal braces, called BRACE MAP, was developed to better distinguish between different orthotic devices. This system, based on building, rigidity, anatomy, envelope construction, mechanism, and plane of action, shows promise for improving communication among scoliosis treatment experts.
