Diagnostic detection methods for Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis in white-tailed deer

Culture slant polymerase chain reaction (CS-PCR) is the most effective method for detecting Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (Map) in asymptomatic white-tailed deer (WTD). This DNA detection technique offers superior results for both fecal and tissue samples, improving early infection diagnosis.
