Juvenile Systemic Sclerosis (JSSc) patients with early internal organ involvement, particularly cardiac, respiratory, and gastrointestinal issues, face a higher mortality risk. Short disease duration at diagnosis appears protective against fatal outcomes in pediatric scleroderma.

- Pediatric Scleroderma may present with two distinct clinical courses: a rapidly progressive, fatal form with organ failure, or a slower course with lower mortality.
