Levosimendan in aortic valve surgery: cardiac performance and recovery

Levosimendan may help maintain left ventricular function after cardiac surgery in patients with severe aortic stenosis and hypertrophy. This cardiac drug reduced the need for certain postoperative vasoactive medications.
