Golgi phosphoprotein 2 (GOLPH2) is expressed in normal kidney tissue and down-regulated in most clear cell renal cell carcinomas (RCC). Its expression is consistent in papillary and chromophobe RCC, but it lacks significant prognostic or diagnostic value in RCC.
