Summary

Robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALRP) is feasible and safe, with oncological and functional outcomes comparable to traditional open surgery. Despite initial controversy and lack of level I evidence, RALRP shows promising results for prostate cancer treatment.
