Submovements in visually-guided and memory-guided reaching tasks: changes in Parkinson's disease

People with Parkinson's disease exhibit hypometric primary submovements, especially in memory-guided tasks. However, they can still accurately reach targets using visual feedback, compensating for initial under-reaching.
