Abstract:
Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (BMSC) is a special kind of cells which has the ability of self-renewal, high proliferation and multi-potentialities. Because of the characteristic of plasticity, it plays an important role in the reparation of various tissues and organs. Furthermore it is convenient to harvest which should make it more applicable in tissue engineering. Here the pre-clinical study advance of BMSC in treating eye diseases is reviewed.
