This study reports an extremely rare anterior cranial fossa schwannoma in a woman with anosmia and headache. Surgical resection was successful, highlighting the importance of considering rare tumors in differential diagnoses.

  • The tumor caused destruction of the anterior skull base and involved the olfactory bulb.

  • Histopathological diagnosis confirmed a schwannoma.
  • The tumor capsule lacked neoplastic cells.
  • Complete tumor resection was achieved via a basal subfrontal approach.
