Abstract:
Microbial contamination of the upper airway mucosa and skin was quantified and the salivary concentrations of lysozyme and secretory immunoglobulin A were determined in persons exposed to toxic substances. The antagonistic activity of the intestinal microflora was studied in firemen. Lower resistance was revealed in firemen and gas rescuers upon exposure to poor factors during their activity.
