    Summary

    The endoscopic vertical multiplanar upper midface elevation (MUM lift) offers natural facial rejuvenation by releasing midface tissues in various planes. This minimally invasive approach improves the upper midface and forehead with reduced tension and vascular compromise.

  • Combined with endoscopic-assisted forehead lift and blepharoplasties, with verticolateral repositioning and fixation.
  • Main Results:

    • Multiplanar release reduced tension, providing natural upper midface and forehead rejuvenation.
    • Significant rejuvenation of the nasojugal groove was observed at 6 months postoperatively.
    • A mean drooping of the lateral brow position (2.3 cm) was noted.

    Conclusions:

    • The transtemporal sub-SMAS and subcutaneous upper midface lift (MUM lift) is safe and predictable.
    • Combined with limited incision foreheadplasty, it reduces vascular compromise.
    • The procedure can be safely performed over the zygomatic muscle.
