Paracervical compared with intracervical lidocaine for suction curettage: a randomized controlled trial

Paracervical and intracervical lidocaine provide similar pain relief during first-trimester suction curettage. Both local anesthesia methods offer equally effective pain management for patients undergoing the procedure with conscious sedation.
