[Effect of using icodextrin as a starting therapy for peritoneal permeability]

Using icodextrin in peritoneal dialysis (PD) may help normalize high peritoneal permeability in patients. This approach shows a greater reduction in peritoneal transport compared to glucose, especially in the first year of treatment.
