  • Understanding the relationship between what a child can do (capacity), what they can do in their environment (capability), and what they actually do (performance) is crucial for effective intervention.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To examine the relationship between motor capacity, motor capability, and motor performance in young children with CP.
  • To identify factors influencing motor functioning in daily life for children with CP.

Main Methods:

  • Cross-sectional study of 85 children with CP (aged 30 months, GMFCS levels I-V).
  • Assessed motor capacity, capability, and performance using the Gross Motor Function Measure and Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory.
