Transient left ventricular dysfunction syndrome (TLVDS), also known as Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, involves neurogenic stunned myocardium. Nuclear imaging, particularly (123)I-mIBG SPECT, aids in diagnosing TLVDS by assessing sympathetic function and metabolism.
