Background:

External genital warts (EGWs) are benign, sexually transmitted growths caused by human papillomavirus (HPV).
While HPV exposure is common, only a fraction of infected individuals develop EGWs.
EGWs affect both females and males in the anogenital region.

Purpose of the Study:

To systematically review the effectiveness of treatments for external genital warts.
