Characterization of solid renal masses using 64-slice multidetector CT scanner.

A 64-slice multidetector CT (MDCT) scanner effectively characterizes renal masses. This technique accurately differentiates clear cell renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and identifies angiomyolipoma (AML) with high precision.
