Abstract:
We present a case of cephalad blind-ending bifid ureter coexisting with adult congenital hydronephrosis that had not clinically manifested previously and had been incidentally detected during surgery. The possibility that both anomalies of development may be related etiopathogenically is discussed. This and other malformations should be sought during the preoperative evaluation of a patient with congenital hydronephrosis.
