Post-surgery, levels of soluble VEGF Receptor 2 (sVEGFR2) decreased while soluble VEGF Receptor 1 (sVEGFR1) increased after minimally invasive colorectal resection. This shift increases available VEGF, potentially promoting angiogenesis.
