Hydration status does not influence peritoneal equilibration test ultrafiltration volumes

The peritoneal equilibration test (PET) for peritoneal dialysis prescription is not influenced by fluid overload or inflammation markers like CRP. Lower serum sodium and albumin levels, however, correlate with increased ultrafiltration volumes in patients undergoing PET.
