Quantitative endoscopic and histologic activity assessment of ulcerative colitis

Endoscopic and histologic assessments of ulcerative colitis (UC) activity are generally consistent. Quantitative scoring of both endoscopic activity index (EAI) and histologic activity index (HAI) improves UC monitoring accuracy.
