Inspiratory muscle dysfunction in patients with severe obstructive sleep apnoea

Patients with severe obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) show reduced strength and endurance in both inspiratory and leg muscles. However, only inspiratory muscles exhibit increased fatigability in OSA patients.
