Cyclooxygenase-2 expression in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

Cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 is expressed in the dysplastic epithelium of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), not stromal cells. This COX-2 expression in CIN epithelium correlates with patient age and menopausal status.
