Using Visual and Narrative Methods to Achieve Fair Process in Clinical Care
Published on: February 16, 2011
Abstract:
In a small rural community, a registered nurse with thirty years of experience regularly visits her former client. She used to care for him as his community nurse. Now she cares about him as a friend. She feeds his cat and attends to his personal affairs at his request. Little does she know that she is to become a beneficiary under his will; little does she know that accepting his bequest will come at the cost of losing her employment, the Nursing Tribunal cancelling her registration and the media ambushing her at her workplace.
