Post-auricular muscle reflex in the Middle Latency Evoked Auditory Response

The post-auricular muscle reflex interferes with Middle Latency Auditory Evoked Response (MLAER) when electrodes are on the mastoid. Placing electrodes on the earlobe provides more accurate MLAER recordings.
