Association between ApoE4 allele and deep venous thrombosis: a pilot study

Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) gene polymorphism, specifically the E3/E4 variant, is linked to an increased risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This pilot study suggests a potential genetic association in the Turkish population.

- Further large-scale studies are recommended to validate these findings and explore the underlying mechanisms.
